If I had to do it over, I wouldn't put a set of Greddy's on my car. I would have access to larger selection of turbos with better concept of the ball bearing. I dont deny that. But saying the Mitsu/Greddy turbos are outdated antiques is just not true. Compare compressor maps, spool and power output to similar sized Garretts, the difference is not pronounced. Today Mitsu turbos continue to be OEM choice of many car makers. Because it uses beefier, high quality components. The turbos are generally tougher and more durable than the Garrett counterparts.
